An original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios animated film The Jungle Book (1967). Featuring a great image of Baloo gesturing to Bagheera about how he fought the monkeys off, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during production. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the movie. Measuring 12.5"x16" overall, with an image area measuring 8"x5", the cel is in very good condition with light rippling to the cel's surface and a fold on the top left corner. The piece went through Disney's art program, as is evidenced by the seal in the corner, and was laminated by the studio as was their practice at the time. We have paired the cel with a color printed reproduction background for presentation purposes.
