A development board for the Sleeping Beauty Castle presentation from the Disney on Parade arena show. The event originated in 1969 and was Disney's first live arena show with a variety of scenes bringing the Disneyland park and characters to life for new audiences around the world. The third edition of the show in 1972 featured a Sleeping Beauty scene set to Tchaikovsky. The set's backdrop development shown here captures the style of the castle as well as swatches of color for the set. The overall board measures 20"x30" and the main image of the castle measures 11.5"x20". The development design is in very good condition with some wear to the edges of the board and minimal surface wear.
